Day 11
Determination and patience, although I have to say I was getting a little anxious. After over two weeks of sending out two applications, calling and getting no response from Tring, I was in two minds of applying to the Farmer’s Market in the next town, Berkhamsted, but living in this area, I thought I would give it one more shot. So I took to the Tring Facebook page and reached out for help. A lovely lady got back to me, who happens to be a director of the market. I was advised that they are having a meeting tomorrow evening and that she would raise the issue and discuss my stall with everyone and get back to me. I was so happy, whatever the outcome, at least I finally had a response.
Being the weekend, I went off and had a bit of a rest and relaxation as we all do. And met and chatted with a wonderful lady who owns a small Beauty Retreat in Berkhamsted. Over the time that we were chatting we discussed the TGC Retreat and the experience, I would like to offer guests when they visit here, may it be yoga, meditation, relaxing massages. She did seem very interested and I would like to discuss with her further in the near future.
Ended the evening at home with a very special recipe, called “Reza’s Rice”, which my husband would make when he was studying at uni in the not to distant past, ha ha. This recipe is a very simple dish, rice with vegetables and I modified it a little and have added smoked Salmon. There is an option of just keeping it Vegetarian or even adding Bacon. This will be one of the recipes I will add to one of my dinner experiences with lovely people who are passionate about food around my table. Also last week, when we were at the Hertfordshire County Show, we bought a bottle of Rum which had fruit (passionfruit and mango) in it. It’s apparently originally from “La Reunion”. Well the gentleman who we bought it from, said to mix it with some Prosecco, and sparking water and a few cubes of ice. So fresh and summery, and I love passionfruit. I immediately thought of a close friend of my mine in Germany who I can’t wait to share this refreshing beverage with.
I wonder who that friend might be 🫢😁
So proud of you💕💕💕
