Day 22
Its been a busy, up and down day today. Again, I spent a lot of time surfing the internet, chatting to companies and trying to get the last bits and pieces for TGC done. Rayan arrived and will be giving me an intense IT learning Course on AI Chat Bot and Notion which he has now connected me too.
The table cloths and some packaging has arrived for the Market Stall and the rest will be arriving over the next few days.
I have been putting together a lot of my recipes, which I hope one day to publish in a book with the story of my journey, and how and where I got the ideas of these recipes. Its still a long way to go, but every step is a step closer to achieving this.
Although I have been a pescatarian (by choice, as I have no allergies for any foods) for the last four years, I still do cook everything for everyone else. I have been wanting to discuss with my neighbour, who rears sheep, if and when I could start buying lamb from him. There is an amazing Persian dish, actually quite a few, if not all, called Ab Ghoosht (translated water of meat), which is made with lamb, beans, potato, rosemary and other herbs and spices into a soupy stew, all cooked very slowly in stoneware. The meat and beans and potatoes at the end are mashed together. The broth is then served separately, and the mashed meat on the side with flat breads and green leafy salad. Ofcourse, the best quality meat makes this dish very delicious and mouth watering.
I baked a small amount of Spinach and feta pastries filled with Sumac and topped with poppy seeds with flour bought from Redbourn. They turned out quite well and tasted really good.
That Persian dish sounds so yummy, not to mention the pastry. I made something similar, filled with fish and shrimps, lots of parsley, garlic and cumin, Moroccan as you can tell.
