Day 32

I received more of the bed linen today.  It literally is arriving in bits and pieces.  Looking at what I have received, I am quite happy with the fabric, the duvets and cushions.  Again, the trial and error will only be known once we have the opinions of our guests at TGC.

All of the Toiletry products have arrived.  I can’t wait to sample them myself.  I have heard so much about them.  Yes, another tick off, the To-Do list.

We will just need to fix the final bits of accessories in the bathroom and the outside shelving for the plants and flowers, then take some more photos, and I think we are good to go.

As both my parents, and my Aunt and Uncle are here to visit, we went touring today and that finally gave me an opportunity to be able to test out where the nice places are for when guests arrive.  We visited the Museum, the Brewery, the little High street and of course a lovely cafe at the end.  Everywhere must end with a coffee and from time to time a smalll or big piece of cake.

At home, I managed to get a little of more information for my project.  Some times  searching on the net can be a little bit boring.

I spent the end of the evening with both my Mum and Aunt discussing baking recipes and the wonderful cakes and bakes they both make.  They both were giving me ideas on their recipes for German Cheesecakes, Fresh fruit cakes and one of my favourites Donauwelle (A German Snowwhite Cake recipe).  We then started reminiscing on all the wonderful cooking and cakes my Oma (grandmother) used to make.  Mouthwatering.
