My second Farmers Market was amazing. I was really pleased and happy. The German cakes did really well and the German Cheesecake was a hit. Customers seemed to really like the Lemon Drizzle Stollen, followed by the others. My savoury Cheese, Spinach and Onion Stollen went really well. People were really happy with the Gluten Free options. Definitely some more options next time. A few customers had come a second time. New customers were asking how often I would be at the Market. Some were asking for business cards, a few were looking to see my business name on the Gazebo. So here are a few more things to adjust and improve on for next time. A lady approached me and asked if I could bring my stall to a town about forty minutes away for their annual Autumn festival towards the end of September. I was delighted. The next Market will be in two weeks. Apart from all the excitement of the morning, the rain held off really well until the last half hour, when it started pouring down. We made it home dry!
I have finished my write-up for the TGC website and have forwarded it on to Rayan to include on the website. Exciting, that we are almost around the corner to launch, with our final stages being put into place.
Every time I think the last bits and pieces are done, other thoughts come to my mind. Today I ordered Bathrobes, sustainable disposable slippers, a hairdryer, ironing board and iron and they are all on the way.
Two of my friends, one based in Bahrain and another from Spain, both sent me lovely messages of support and interest. It makes me happy to know you are enjoying my blog. Stay with me till Day 100, and lets see where my journey has taken me. There has been a lot done in the first 40 days, and along with my thoughts and ideas, and the help of my family, I have been able to put these plans to action. I never thought I would be sitting on my Mac typing away at all hours in the night, looking up things that I need to get, companies and businesses, I need to connect with, and actually enjoying every minute of my journey. I also became a member of “Female Founders Rise”, which Rayan put me in touch with, and look forward to taking part in events and talks with the group of over 1000 Female Founders.
After a long and exciting day, we spent a lovely evening at the local pub. They had a nice young man singing wonderful music, and we met some lovely people.
I’d kill for one of your stolen!!!
