Day 54
Another day that you sit glued to the computer, searching and finding new things out. Not only that, I am trying to get used to the new website of adding new items and trying to get grips with it, and somehow it still does not seem to be successful. But I shall persevere until I get there. I have also started my new Instagram account and will load more photos as the days go by. The account is also Tring.farm.
While we are waiting for the first sign of our guests to TGC, I have many other things that I am working on.
The First Dinner Experience will be held on 2nd September as I mentioned previously, so I am now looking at a theme, a setting, the layout of my table, and most of all, the menu. I more or less know, what my menu will be, and will let you know nearer the time. This will be very exciting for me.
I always remember a very lovely, easy read, that my friend, who now lives in the US, gave me to read many years ago. It was called “Pomegranate Soup.” It was about three sisters who left Iran during the revolution and moved to Ireland. They eventually opened a small cafe/restaurant. The smells of the cooking would linger outside the eatery, and the Irish people walking by were totally alien to their cooking. It did not take long for them to fall in love with Persian food. Of course, there is much more to this beautiful story and is a must to read, if you like an easy going, and pleasant reading. The reason I brought up this book is, because I always imagined myself one day cooking for guests in this way. Cooking with happiness and harmony.
Loved Pomegranate soup💕💕💕
