Day 87
Another beautiful autumn morning to wake up to! We took a trip down to Brighton with Pedro and met up with our younger son, Rami. Rami is very fond of him and had not seen him since 2014 when he was only 10! So there were a lot of jokes and laughter when they both reunited, and we all enjoyed a lovely light lunch at a cafe by the pier. Brighton is such a vibrant city, especially for young people at university, although to me, it somehow feels different from what I had imagined it would be like. I've visited a few times, but it has always been just for a quick few hours.
We also visited Arundel Castle and town, which was very pretty and picturesque.
As Reza had lived in Scotland for many years, part of our annual holidays were spent there, and we didn't really explore parts of England and Wales. There are so many beautiful villages and towns here. Each one has its own unique character; some have different types of houses with various bricks and stones. I love the villages in the Cotswolds with all the cobbled roads. Back in school, many years ago, we would always read English books, look at the pictures, and imagine these beautiful places.
